Early Victorian (1840s) COPELAND & GARRETT porcelain dinner plates - set of SEVEN
Well…where to start. These are quite simply glorious. I’m not entirely sure why I’m selling them but my dresser is full and my table too small and they deserve to be seen and adored. They’re almost 200 years old…imagine the stories they could tell.
Here’s the all important information….Please DM if you’re interested and promise to love them!
Set of SEVEN early Victorian Copeland & Garrett (c1833-1847) porcelain dinner plates — gilt edging and hand painted florals
Each plate carries the crowned garter & wreath makers mark reading COPELAND & GARRETT and a hand-painted pattern number.
Their condition is remarkable for their age. No chips, cracks or crazing across the set.
Two plates are still bright and crisp in colour and gilding, the rest are faded here and there which adds to their charm. Please see all photos and I’m very happy to provide more details.
Each plate measures D24cm which is a lovely dinner plate size
Delivery will be by DPD or free collection from Oxfordshire.
