1950s OXO Tin

Sale Price:£15.00 Original Price:£20.00
sold out

As you may have gathered, I really love tin and I particularly love vintage advertising tins. I love the designs, the fonts, the colours and the fact they’ve been kept and used for years and aren’t even nearly finished yet!

Curiosities and vintage pieces should be useful. They should also be lovely to look at. Vintage advertising tins are a wonderful addition to the kitchen and home and far more interesting than mass produced or plastic alternatives. Well, I think so anyway….although I admit to having a cupboard FULL of Tupperware but only for packed lunches and fridge leftovers. I keep my teabags and stock cubes and all kinds of dry foods in a myriad vintage tins and they always bring a bit of joy to the otherwise mundane.

This 1950s OXO tin is in great vintage condition and the lid fits snugly too. Perfect for kitchen storage and even as a lunch box….but I’m not sure I'd trust my boys with it. Too precious.

Dimensions : 17cm x 13cm x 6.5cm
